Brownstone has been selected as a featured "Brand to Watch" at this year's Complexcon Long Beach. A new installation of our "TEMPORARY SPACE" experience will be taking place this Saturday and Sunday at The Long Beach Convention Center.
To announce the installation, Complex has written a feature on the brand detailing a bit of what to expect in Long Beach and highlight our upcoming A/W'19 collection "Form/VOID".
The online store is now updated with our capsule collection from Pharrell William's 2019 Something In The Water Festival. The festival took place April 26-28 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
All pieces were tie dyed by hand making each garment unique. The tote bag features original artwork from Chuy Hartman.
Brownstone's "Still'Life" club collar shirt was recently featured by GQ Magazine in their weekly review of all things fresh, "The Best New Menswear Items to Buy This Week".
The club collar shirt features a drinking glass pattern reminiscent of the suit Salvador Dali would wear to dinner parties. Made of Japanese cotton the shirt is a modern take on the classic 70's style bowling shirts.
Our very first interview has just been published with the wonderful MAEKAN.
MAEKAN is original storytelling at its purest through captivating audio, engaging words and beautiful visuals. It was a very fun and engaging conversation we had and we're glad to share it with you.
Warner and Waverly Watkins, the twin brothers behind Brownstone, recently released their latest collection “I Like It Here Can I Stay? : Rude Boys & Girls Club, USA”. Maekan got the chance to hear a few words from the duo on their latest collection and the challenges of starting an independent fashion brand in the current climate.
Often times fashion wishes to be timeless but in the case of Brownstone, they’ve flipped the script. Pushing commentary is at the heart of their collections. When you look back on a Brownstone piece, it should reflect the cultural landscape of the moment”
